Enter the Labyrinth...

Something blocks your path, filling the width of the corridor. Sensing defeat, you inspect the offending behemoth further, and realise it's a wardrobe. Big wooden doors fill your vision and sitting right in front of your nose is a key, snugly encased in its keyhole. Turning the key, layer upon layer of hanging coats are revealed, thick ones and thin ones, fur ones and fluffy ones, tweed ones and wool ones. Pushing some aside you see light filtering through the chinks between the coats. Hope swells, success is nigh - you have found the way inwards!

Stepping into the wardrobe and pushing through the coats you battle your way onwards. Cloth and fur brush your skin, muffle your ears and invade your eyes, causing you to close them. Musty, dusty smells fill your nostrils, and groping with blind hands you part the seemingly hundreds of coats in your path. Slinky fur caresses your hands, textured tweed buffs your arms, scratchy wool berates your face. Pushing in from all sides, you feel caught, you can only just move forwards, the coats seeming to deliberately hamper your movements, discouraging your advancement, trapping you in their dusty, mothball eaten midst. Wanting for fresh air you increase your pace, wildly pushing at coats now, anything to get out into open space! With a last tremendous effort you sweep out your hands, parting the impeding coats and burst through the other side.

Gasping in the sweet, fresh air you turn your head over your shoulder and see a forest of fur, tweed and wool, still swaying from their recent disturbance.
